ELEKTROTECHNICIAN GSE

As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for detecting and solving electronic breakdowns in motorised rolling stock. The focus of your tasks will be on electronic maintenance and repairs, but you may also be called upon for general maintenance/repairs if necessary.

Some of your duties include:

  • you work on the electrical components in the GSE machines
  • you disassemble and assemble parts according to machine instructions, documentation, etc.
  • localising a fault in the installation and determining technical solutions
  • checking the operation of electronic systems
  • you identify the components of defective systems, repair or replace these components
  • connecting a diagnostic computer to the equipment to detect malfunctions based on recorded programmes

Profile

  • You have at least a secondary degree in electrical engineering/electromechanics or similar
  • If you have experience in rolling stock, that is a plus
  • You can handle measuring instruments and read electrical plans
  • You work and think in a solution-oriented way
  • You have knowledge of PLC
  • You can work independently as well as in a group
  • You are flexible, eager to learn and motivated, and also have a strong sense of responsibility
  • You are safety and quality conscious
  • You have a driving licence (B) to carry out occasional depannages on the tarmac of the airport
